Recycling
Medical facilities and dental offices produce an abundance of trash on a daily basis. By simply recycling such things as paper, cardboard and plastic, office trash can be significantly reduced.
To get started:
- Select one person in the office to be in charge of recycling and waste management coordination.
- Check local recycling guides by contacting the city or local trash companies.
- If no onsite pick-up is available, find out where drop off locations are located.
- Provide labeled bins to separate and make recycling easy and effective. Generally, four bins can accommodate: corrugated cardboard, paperboard, comingled containers (plastic, glass, aluminum and tin), paper, including magazines and catalogs.
